What do you really need, for Christmas ?
And now, we march towards Christmas.
Filled with the fare of Thanksgiving, and dare hope the spirit of thankfulness, as we stop and remember, amid a shopping sprees, that there are others, less fortunate, though no fault of their own - to whom a small consideration, may mean the world. What worth, is our celebration, without sharing ? Therein lies the true spirit of Christs birth. Not within what we eagerly unwrap, but in the hearts, and yes, ours too, of those we share our blessings, however small with.
There are children, there are animals, countless spread across this one world, which we all share, in need. Elderly folk, years spent building a future, now in their twilight, can we not cause a twinkle in their eyes , once again, or for the first time, and know in reaching out, that WE are making a difference, none is too small.
I would rather a stocking stuffed to overflowing with smiles, than diamonds any day. For smiles really do stretch into eternity, and diamonds, fall by the wayside, they are without any value in eternity.
Please, move towards our next celebration, and give a gift of love, a gift of self and spirit ~ You will feel a warmth in your heart, to which nothing compares.
Adopt an animal in need this Christmas. It's a
gift of unconditional love, which will last a lifetime.

Know everyone knows I am a cat fancier...
but am doing a Christmas present for an email buddy....
promised her no cats until after the first of the year.
Prayers and good thoughts for those in subzero temps

Hi Saturn, my computer is the same. I am waiting for my SIL to come at Christmas to fix it , he is a tech.I leave it on all the time now. lol hugs Chill
